Are you suffering from dizziness?
Do you feel dizzy when you change position or have the impression the room is spinning when you get up from bed? A frequent cause of this type of dizziness is called Vertigo, more specifically Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). When you suffer vertigo, the feeling may be similar to that felt during a turning amusement park ride! The frequency and duration of the episodes vary from one person to another; some will experience the symptoms once while others will experience them often during several weeks or months.
What are the most common symptoms?
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Increase in symptoms when standing up or changing position
